Ray King and Bobby Robson memorabilia for sale
This is an original and framed photo commemorating the FA’s tour of South Africa in 1956 which includes Bobby Robson and Ray King, and it will soon be available to buy on ebay. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a piece of footballing memorabilia which features North East legends!

This is the original photo and has been generously donated by Ray King, to help us raise money for The Ambler.
The black and white framed image is set behind glass and includes the names of the team and officials:
J.Langley, Mr F.G.L.Ford (Trainer), J.Bond, J.Mansell, W.H.McCarry, J.G.Teasdale, L.Quested, E.Burgin, R.King, S.Owen (Captain), R.H.Morton, P.Harris, G.Petherbridge, R.Ayre, R.Robson, Sir Leslie Bowker K.C.V.O., O.B.E., M.C. (Co-Manager) Mr F.A.Adams (Co-Manager), B.Jezzard, G.A.Hitchins, W.Perry, J.King.
The photo is mounted on card behind glass and the mount measures approx 37cms by 25cms. Together with the wooden frame, it measures approx 54cms.
The image will be put up for sale on ebay on Sunday 14 November for one week. Look under the title ‘Bobby Robson and Ray King – South African football photo’ in the Sports Memorabilia and Photography sections.
Also being put up for sale in aid of The Ambler is the Soccer Memorabilia: A Collector’s Guide book by Graham Budd. Not only has the book been kindly donated by Ray King but he has also taken the time to sign the inside front page. The book was published in 2000 and contains 118 pages.
The book will also be up for sale on ebay on Sunday 14 November and will be found under books, comics and magazines, non-fiction, sports. Search for “Soccer Memorabilia book”
