Simon’s new role involves residents

Homes for Northumberland, which manages Northumberland County Council‘s social housing stock, has appointed Simon Crosthwaite as the new Resident Involvement Officer for Alnwick District, which includes Amble.

His role will include setting up and running tenants’ and residents’ groups within the area and we hope to have an inaugural meeting for Amble tenants and residents before Christmas. As part of the public sector, we also encourage tenants to get involved in how Homes for Northumberland looks after its tenants and manages the housing stock in general.

There are a number of ways people can get involved and many of them can be done from the comfort of your own home. These include our contacting you for your opinions, either in person, over the telephone or via email. We also conduct regular estate walkabouts. Please join us. You can point out any areas of concern in your local neighbourhood. You can involve yourself as much or as little as you want: your voice is important to us.

For more information please contact Simon on 01665 511271, or via email at simon.crosthwaite@hfn.uk.com.

Homes for Northumberland would like to wish all Amble residents a Merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
