A grant from Northumberland County Council will help to provide Friday evening youth sessions for teenagers in Amble.
The council has awarded a grant of £5,000 from its Community Chest Fund to The Amble Youth Project, a registered charity that operates from Dilston Terrace .

The Youth Project provides a range of youth opportunities and services for young people between the ages of 11-19 and is a base from where they can access support, information, advice and guidance on a range of youth issues, including health, training and employment.

It is open three days and five evenings a week for 51 weeks of the year.
