Christmas Coffee Morning on Sunday 11th December 2011.
Lifeboat House on Radcliffe Quay 10am to 1pm. Raffle
Coffee, tea, soft drinks; home-baked cakes, scones and biscuits.
January 29th, 2012 : SOS Day fundraiser,an annual national event
This is to raise money to replace the all-weather and inshore lifejackets which are worn by all our crews, as the current jackets have reached the end of their working lives. These jackets are a vital part of the crews’ equipment and it will cost several thousands of pounds to replace these at each station.
Tea, coffee and soup available along with cakes and scones.
Tombola and raffle; film show.
We have another ‘call to arms’. ALF’s committee needs more members. If anyone has a few hours to spare during the year and would be willing to come to meetings or lend a hand with fund-raising events, it would be greatly appreciated – even if it is only a couple of hours on a particular day when we need extra help.
