Revive furniture

Revive Furniture is offering Amble residents free collections of their good quality unwanted furniture. Revive is a registered charity, whose purpose is to collect donations of good-quality used furniture from people who no longer need it. They then pass it on at low cost to low-income families who can’t afford to buy new furniture.

Brendan Egan the Operations Manager at Revive’s Furniture Project says ‘We have operated in South East Northumberland over the last 10 years. We have been getting so many requests for help in the area, we have decided to expand our Charitable services to Amble then going up to Alnmouth, Shilbottle and Rothbury.

We have helped over 1000 individuals last year and are hoping to do the same this year. However, our very success means we are now desperate for some more, good-quality second-hand furniture to be donated to the charity. Your donations enable us to help many families who are in dire need, by providing them with low-cost furniture.”

Anyone wishing to donate an item of furniture or in need of furniture should call Revive on 01670 368665.
