Come and play AmbleGPX

Posted on 07th February 2012 | in Community , Heritage & Tourism , Young People’s Activities

Think you know Amble? Play AmbleGPX and discover more! Some of the team who created AmbleGPX will be available in person to help you play the game during February half term.

The game contains videos of local people, places and points of interest around the town as well as treasure hunt-style trails where you can win prizes from local businesses.

Members of the team will be available to explain the game and help you get started – please check the news section on www.amblegpx.com for times and venues.

If you have a smartphone or ipad, you can play using that, alternatively you can call in to Amble Development Trust, Pride of Northumbria or [X]IT videogames and use a laptop on the premises.

Play AmbleGPX and you can: Enjoy local walks, learn about Amble’s history, experience the local wildlife,  watch videos of local people, discover sights and information only the locals know. And of course have fun at the same time! www.amblegpx.com
