Warkworth Show

Saturday 18 August in the grounds of Warkworth Castle. Youngsters aged five to 18 will be designing clothing for the British Olympic athletes competing in the 2016 games in Brazil.

There will be a 2.5 km fun run; displays of flowers, fruits, vegetables, preserves, cookery, handicrafts, art, poetry and photography; the Alnwick Playhouse Concert Band; children’s fancy dress, young dancers, Magic Myrtle and a children’s tombola; wood turning by Peter Thompson; Fun Dog Show; and a gun dog demonstration by Bob Jackson.

The day’s activities begin at 10am and continue until late afternoon.
