Customer service at Amble Links has moved to a new level with the introduction of a defibrillator at the Granary Leisure Centre.

Park Leisure 2000 Ltd in partnership with the British Heart Foundation has purchased the defibrillator to benefit holiday park residents, staff, and the general public, increasing the chances of a healthy outcome following a heart attack.

Sudden cardiac arrest can strike people of all ages and fitness levels, and in the UK alone kills 2000 people each week. All the lifeguards and managers at the pool have received in depth training in the use of the defibrillator and CPR
Dave Pullinger, manager and trainer at the Granary Leisure Centre is delighted the directors of Park Leisure have financed the training and purchase of the machine which will contribute to the well being of the local community.
