Another award for Tamsin
World Surf Kayak champion Tamsin Green has won yet another award – this time at the Northumberland Sports Awards held at Alnwick Playhouse in June.
The awards were held to coincide with the week of the Olympic flame coming through the area.
“All the winners of the area sports awards were put forward for the County awards”, explained Tamsin.
“I was awarded the Senior Female Achievement award for winning the World Championships. It was a lovely evening with some truly remarkable sports people receiving the awards.
“I was obviously very proud to win, particularly considering how impressive the other Ladies’ achievements were.”
