A festival of opera, classical and traditional music presented in concert performances at three of Northumberland’s finest houses: Eshott Hall, Doxford Hall and Guyzance Hall – A unique event from 9th – 18 November 2012.

This will be the first time in many years that Opera North has performed in Northumberland and understandably the Festival organisers are highly delighted that the Leeds-based company is to perform north of the Tyne.

Following the success of the first festival held in 2011, which attracted music lovers from across the region, the second Northumberland Music Festival is being held between the 9th and 18th of November.

This year it will once again feature a variety of musical styles including Traditional, Brass, Classical Music and the ever- popular Gilbert and Sullivan.

Other highlights this year include a remembrance Sunday Concert to be performed by The Reg Vardy Brass Band and a Traditional Northumberland Concert to be performed by The Northumberland Ranters.
