Western Front Association events 2013

As always, WFA meetings are held at Alnmouth Ex-Servicemen’s Club and start at 7.15 pm for 7.30 pm. Visitors and new members will be made most welcome. The suggested minimum donation is £1, to include a light buffet supper.

23 September — ‘The Wombles of the Western Front: BEF Salvage in the Great War’ — Rob Thompson (Military Historian).
28 October — ‘I’m Big Bertha – Beware of imitations’ — David Easton (branch member).
25 November — ‘A 1911 German outlook on the impending Great European War’ — Derek Gladding  (branch member).
