Long-established Northumberland law firm Adam Douglas & Son has moved to a new office in Amble. The firm, established by Adam Douglas in 1894 has been serving the people of Amble since 1999 when it acquired Carse and Goodger Solicitors.

In February, Adam Douglas will have a new base in the Fourways 2 Centre in Amble where clients will be seen by appointment.

The firm’s new office offers everything  expected of a modern meeting facility including disabled access.  The firm will continue to offer home visits for clients who are unable to come into the office.

Clients will be able to make contact at any time during the week with solicitors Norman Luke, Sarah Sinclair and Claire Skene at the firm’s head office in Market Place, Alnwick. Adam Douglas has an experienced team of specialist private client solicitors who can provide advice and assistance with making a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney (allowing you to give authority to another person to handle your finances and/or make health and welfare decisions on your behalf), gifts or estate planning and advice on long term care.

The firm also provides a full range of legal services to private and business clients including specialist legal advice and assistance when buying, selling or renting property.

Mrs. Sinclair, who is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, joined Adam Douglas eight years ago and will be the partner responsible for overseeing the Amble branch.

“We take great pride in the way we have served the community of Amble for many years, and we fully intend to continue doing that from our new location in the town,” she said. “Anyone wishing to contact us can do so by calling  01665 602363 or 01665 710744 and appointments will be made to see them in Amble.”
