A two year project has received a £34,820 funding boost to tackle social isolation and unemployment in our area.
Fourth Action’s East Amble Women’s Workshop will provide a mentoring scheme and building and art projects for as many as 300 women of all ages in the town.
Using money raised by HealthAble CIC, through the Health Lottery, grants have been awarded by People’s Health Trust through Active Communities, a funding programme which invests in local people and groups, for projects lasting up to two years.
HealthAble CIC has raised £789,127, for health-related good causes in Cumbria and Northumberland. For further info please contact Chris Lunn, director of HealthAble CIC on 02033848309, or email media@healthableCIC.org.uk
