Many of you will have already seen construction at the site moving on at a pace now. Some minor delays caused by the discovery of various underground pipes and cables have set the contractors back a few weeks but everything is still progressing with plans for Christmas 2014 retail ‘pods’ opening.

We will be displaying the Harbour Village site plan at the actual site for public information as well as on the website, and don’t forget to ‘Like us’ on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to get updates too.

As well as displaying the plans at a stand in the town square at the Christmas lights and procession (23rd November 2014), we are hoping to run a small Christmas event when opening the retail ‘pods’ (mid December 2014).

There are also some exciting events planned for a full launch of the Amble Harbour Village and at key times throughout 2015, so look out for news and future events in the Ambler as well as on the website, Facebook, and Twitter.

dumper-truckWe have had some great initial interest in the 15 retail ‘pods’ but we are still looking for more tenants. So if you are a small/start-up business offering crafts, food and drink, or leisure services looking for small retail premises in a fantastic location and growing tourist destination, please get in touch.

Please visit our website, Amble Harbour Village, and go to ‘The Pods’ section. Business information packs are available from the Development Trust Offices – Fourways 2, Dilston Terrace, Amble, NE65 0DT, Tel: 01665 712929, or e-mail Sarah@ambledevelopmenttrust.org.uk
