The first Pods arriving at the Harbour Village

Amble Harbour Village is delighted to announce the first phase of the project will launch in December. We welcome our first five fantastic businesses that will be trading from their Pods, selling a variety of gifts, services and tasty treats.

The businesses are largely existing businesses looking to expand and develop into Amble, recognising the potential of the town and the exciting opportunity on offer. There is one start up business, two existing businesses from the local, neighbouring areas, and two businesses expanding from our very own Queen Street!

Boat Shed Gallery

A unique and inspiring range of affordable art, prints and gifts from Northumberland and further afield.

BLUE

A selection of nautical themed gifts & beautiful bespoke cards of local views. Soft sea creature toys for children and other perfect stocking fillers.

The P Pod

Gifts, Gallery & More… Individual Art, Fashion Accessories, Seasonal Ranges & Body Care.

Coquet Cottages

Award-winning, luxury cottages located in the most enviable coast and countryside locations of beautiful Northumberland. Short breaks and full weeks available all year round.

The Amble Butcher

Suppliers of locally sourced beef, lamb and Welsh white rare breed pork. We dry cure our own bacon and make our own sausages using recipes and techniques exclusive to Amble Butchers. We have artisan-made ‘lush’ Northumbrian pies; home cured, roasted and boiled hams and cooked meats: all prepared in house.

To mark the first phase of opening, we will be hosting some festive activity down at the Harbour Village. We are planning tasty treats, gift wrapping for customers purchasing gifts in Amble*, Christmas tunes, and an ice carving display.

Keep your eyes open for posters and online information for all the fun including an ice sculpting display. See www.ambleharbourvillage.co.uk or join us on Facebook and Twitter.
So make the most of shopping in Amble. Buy some gifts from the local shops and Pods, meet up with friends and family for a drink and a bite to eat in one of the excellent cafés or restaurants in Amble, before finishing your shopping.
