Reprint of popular Warkworth book

Posted on 08th May 2015 | in Community

Warkworth-book-Ambler-launch-advertReprinted to raise funds and to recognise the invaluable support of Marie Curie Cancer Care (www.mariecurie.org.uk), Ian Smith’s very popular guide to Warkworth will appeal to anyone who knows, or is to discover, this delightful village.

At only £3 with all proceeds to Marie Curie, the book makes an ideal pocket guide or a welcome gift.

Please come and support us on 8th May at Gray’s Warkworth when there is also an opportunity to enter a silent auction for a watercolour of the castle and river by the Berwick artist Fred Stott.

For all enquiries please contact the publisher Beryl Holmes at book.holmes@gmail.com.

  1. Beryl Holmes says:

A very successful launch at Gray’s raising £432 on the night. The author Ian Smith signed copies & chatted to guests while we enjoyed the refreshments kindly provided by Julie & Tim Mohon in their lovely shop. Gray’s also generously donated 10% of their day’s takings to Marie Curie.
Huge appreciation to everyone who supported the event.
The book is now on general sale in local shops in and around Warkworth and on line from northern-heritage.co.uk and Amazon.
Any enquiries to me at book.holmes@gmail.com
See our Warkworth page on Facebook.
