Many thanks to all the amazing people who have supported our branch over the past year. Membership is increasing, not just from Warkworth and Amble, but also from surrounding areas. The Royal British Legion will always be there for those who served in our Armed Forces and by supporting us you will make a difference to those who will need our help for many years to come.

Our Poppy Appeal launch begins mid-October until Remembrance Sunday on 13 November 2016 and we hope to make this year our best ever.

Sales from our book Portraits of War: The Men and Women of Warkworth and Acklington District who served in World War I continue to grow thanks to advertising on Joan Robinson’s Warkworth Website www.warkworth.co.uk.

As all proceeds from the book go to our Poppy Appeal we will be making the book widely available and our poppy collectors can take orders. Book donation is £10 with £2.99 for post and packaging. Contact June Watson on 07785 753100.
