Kevin Keegan takes over. "We all eagerly await"

Gym trio now fit for anything

Pauline Jackson, Tyrone Watters and Anne-Marie Coulter, are pictured here with fitness consultant Keith Turner.

They undertook an eight-week fitness and diet programme under Keith’s direction to see if they could tone up and trim down.

Multi talented Keith who is from Amble, has been a personal trainer for five years and is also this year’s European wrestling champion.

So how did our Ambler guinea-pigs get on? In just eight weeks, Pauline has lost half a stone, Tyrone has lost weight and built up his stamina and Anne-Marie has dropped a dress size. All three were very pleased with their progress and vowed to continue excercising.

“At first they were nearly collapsing” said Keith, “but they have been really good. When they first started training, only Tyrone could last more than half an hour.”

“You don’t think you’re going to get any better at first, “ said Pauline, “you’re seeing stars ... but three times in and you’re feeling great.”

You can catch up with Keith at the Granary’s gym, and his personal training programme is available to buy as a package from Argos, WHSmith, Boots, Sainsbury’s, Debenhams and Birthday. If you join the Granary Leisure Centre you get free personal training with Keith, plus dietary and nuitrition advice and fitness classes.
