Recognition for Outstanding Carers

Age Concern's award winners

Age Concern Northumberland recently held their annual Home Care Attendant Awards, held to recognise the exceptional contribution made by Age Concern Northumberland’s home carers. Each winning carer had been nominated for the awardby their service user.

The Chair of the Trustees from Age Concern Northumberland, Madeleine Elliott, presented seven home carers with their awards; two recipients were unable to attend. One service user who nominated her carer, said, “In my opinion I couldn’t have a better carer. She steps in with help when she knows I can’t manage and always remembers my routine. She is one lovely person.”

To find out more about a career as a home carer and how you can make a difference to someone’s life, please call the HR & Training Team on 0845 140 0088.
