    Royal British Legion: June Watson: The Tankervilles of Chillingham

    Time: 7pm
    Location: Warkworth War Memorial Hall

    Meetings are held in the Legion Room in Warkworth War Memorial Hall every two months. Members and visitors are welcome to come along and find out more about the Legion’s role in providing help for veterans and their families. We offer a free training course for those members who would like to engage with local, regional and national campaigns. We welcome men and women of all ages, whether they have served in the Armed Forces or not, to continue the work that was begun nearly 100 years ago.

    NEXT MEETING is Wednesday, 29 May, 2019 at 7pm in Warkworth War Memorial Hall, Castle Street, Warkworth. Speaker Mrs June Watson. Talk: The Tankervilles of Chillingham.

    Walk at Howick Hall with Coquetmouth Wildlife Trust

    Coquetmouth Wildlife Trust found themselves without volunteers to take over at their AGM and as such, are closing after July 2019. The remaining meetings, which are open to all, are:

    15 July - Walk at East Chevington reed beds
    Thanks have been expressed to the current committee who have been in post a considerable length of time. For those interested in the remaining meetings, they begin at 7.30pm in St. Mark’s Church Hall. Walks begin at 7pm.

    Location: Druridge Bay Country Park on the A1068 close to Amble.

    Red Row Vintage Club Annual Rally now in its 31st year. The club work year round to put on a 2 day Rally for the benefit of the local area and participants from country wide.
    It features all types of Vintage and Classic Vehicles, Tractor’s, Stationary Engines, Cycles, Motorcycles, scale Traction Engines, Military exhibits, Horticultural and a wide variety of art/craft/curiosity and food/sweet stalls both inside and out. Further details -
