Allan Wade: Former President and Standard Bearer of Warkworth & Amble Royal British Legion Branch

The friends and former members of Warkworth & Amble Royal British Legion Branch are sad to announce the sudden passing of ex Royal Air Force veteran Allan Wade who loyally served as Standard Bearer and President of the branch over many years.
Allan was devoted to supporting the Royal British Legion and always attended the Amble Town Square Remembrance Day Ceremony each year. Allan was always prominent, along with his wife Vivienne, to support any event to support the RBL Poppy Appeal. After the branch closure Allan remained in constant touch with his veteran friends in the Amble area and will be sadly missed.
