Summer Holiday Activities & Food – A programme of events is in place throughout the holidays, with sessions for 8-12yrs such as summertime alive, cricket, watersports and creative activities.
There are also sessions for 13-16yrs such as Football, Escape Room Bus, and challenges. Visit our website: www.ambleyouthproject.org to see the full programme and find out more!
Please note, we have limited places available for activities and you will need to register so please get in touch as early as possible. larap@ambleyouthproject.org

Art Programme – June saw our first three-week special art programme course, on “How to draw animals”. Our next programme will be around the art of photography. We aim to launch this in July – visit our website for dates. This three-week photography course, for 13-18 year olds, will be run by professional photographer, photographer coach, and Trustee of AYP, Ivor Rackham.

CCard – aimed at young people between 13-24 years old who can register to get a range of free condoms, information and advice.

The aim of the service is to promote reproductive and sexual health and help young people to access local services. We aim to provide a drop-in service every other Monday Night – 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm, starting 18 August.

Big Build – We are planning to renovate AYP HQ into an amazing space and in very basic terms, doing a loft conversion.
We have already had a community meeting and have spoken with some very experienced and kind tradespeople/DIY experts who have said they are happy to give us a hand. However, we are still looking for more support so if you think you could help, please get in touch!

An Allotment & A Lot More – We have an allotment! A very exciting new project for us… Lots of work to be done but our aim is that the young people will be able to grow their own food produce for the community. We are looking for volunteers to help guide and advise us (and maybe get your hands dirty too if you are up for it!).

Our vision for this project is to give our young people the opportunity to gain a real sense of achievement and pride whilst learning important skills from our volunteers

We have a team ready to clear the site but once this is done, we really need some gardening/allotment experts to help us plan what to grow and how to do this. If you think you might be able to help, please get in touch.
