A Remembrance Service organised by Amble Town Council along with Coquet Churches Together will be held in Amble Town Square on Sunday 11 November 2012. All participating organisations are required to gather in the Town Square at 10.45am and make their presence known to officials. The two minutes silence at 11.00am will be marked at the beginning and end by a Flash Maroon Rocket.

Road closures for Queen Street (Co-op at top, to junction with Turner St at bottom), Cross Street,  Bridge Street (beside Tesco to beside Jaspers), have been sought from Northumberland County Council. However, confirmation is still awaited.

The proposed times for the road closures are from 10.30am – 12.00 noon).
The participants of the remembrance service will parade from the Town Square under the leadership of Amble Cadet Force up Queen St to St. Cuthbert’s Church on Church Street where a church service will be held.
