Festival ends on a high note

cyan-circusCrowds gathered on Amble’s Little Shore to enjoy a day of local music, as the Puffin Festival drew to a close. The lineup consisted of Amble musicians, who were well supported by visitors, friends, family and music lovers.

Organisers of the two week festival which lasted from May 18 – June 1 were delighted with the turnout for The Colony music festival on what was a mostly sunny day.

One tweet read “Wow, there’s so many people at TheColony I fear the East of Amble may just tip into the sea”

Festival goer Tina Smith said “It was excellent! We can’t wait for next year.”

The Colony lineup: Mark Bezerk, Laura Park, First Born Son, Sandy The Godfather, Brian English, Cyan Circus, Nightrain and The Range
