LUSH Acoustic put on gigs all over Northumberland and has just confirmed its next 6 months of events at The Tanners Arms in Alnwick, every third Saturday of the month. All the LUSH gigs at The Tanners Arms are free admission events.

 LUSH Acoustic Music promotes musical events where original new and traditional tunes cross-over, mingle and blend into a night of lush sonic entertainment! Admission is FREE to the Tanners Arms’ monthly ‘third Saturday of the month’ gigs.

Top touring acts in roots music join LUSH regulars every month. The regular LUSH players include: Carl Cape (upbeat folk-skiffle); fiddler, Jamie Robb; finger-picking revolutionary music from Bill Read; Alnwick-based songsmith, David Ainsworth: and percussion from Tom Beels. It’s a brilliant night out!

The next LUSH Acoustic Music nights are as follows, please note the October gig is a ‘Halloween special’:

Saturday October 30th:

Featuring Newcastle/borders new folk group: ‘Luke and co.’ plus the regular LUSH crew: Tanners Arms, Alnwick, Northumberland 8.30pm till late Admission free.

Saturday November 20th

LUSH Acoustic featuring the LUSH crew: Carl Cape, David Ainsworth, Mark Bezerk, Tom Beels and Bill Read and guest artist: from Allenheads, Northumberland, Phil Ogg: Tanners Arms, Alnwick, Northumberland, 8.30pm till late, Admission free.

The LUSH Acoustic 3rd Birthday gig at:

The Memorial Hall, Warkworth, Northumberland; 7.30pm to 11.30pm; Pooled supper and bring your own drinks; Admission £5, tickets available on the door. Come and celebrate life with the following musical acts: Jack Burness, Ribbon Road, Bill Read, Mark Bezerk, Carl Cape, Tom Beels, Jamie Robb, David Ainsworth.

Saturday December 18th:

The LUSH Acoustic Christmas party featuring ‘We Steal Flyers’ (Derek and Shaggy), plus the regular LUSH crew in tinsel mode with Christmas songs galore: Tanners Arms, Alnwick, Northumberland  8.30pm till late Admission free.
