Poppy Appeal
A big thank you to all the people in the Warkworth and Amble district who donated money to the British Legion Annual Poppy Appeal. We could not do this without the support of the team of collectors who gave their time to collect donations door to door. The final total raised will be announced after 20th Nov.
Thanks also to Amble Army Cadets and Terrie Ann Hedley, Amble Detachment Commander who collected with her cadets We also thank three new volunteers who responded to our call for more collectors.
Think about putting your name forward to help for 2011 as this will be the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Royal British Legion and the target will be £90,000,000 countrywide.
