Please come in wartime dress / uniform if you wish.

Attractions include:
Afternoon Teas/Tombola/Cakes/Ice Creams/Fortune Teller/Poppy Themed Stall/Coconut Shy/Exhibition of World War 1 Memorabilia

Plus various games, competitions and activities including:- a paper aeroplane competition stocks and wet sponges and a walk beginning at 2.30 p.m. (for those who wish) to see the old airfield gun tower and pill box.

The Acklington Warrior Stone, which is linked to the infamous medieval Lindisfarne Warrior Stone, will also be on display.

The event is being organised by Acklington Community Team. All proceeds will be sent to the Royal British Legion as part of their fund-raising effort to raise £90 million in their 90th year. Please join the celebrations and help them reach their target.
