Junior watersports activities: Summer 2011

All activities take place at Druridge Bay Country Park from 10am– 3.30pm Cost:  £40 per day, if more than one day is booked, subsequent days at £35.

 Multi-sport activity: 26th & 27th July:  (Tuesday/ Wednesday) Four half days of different watersports – sailing/ windsurfing/ kayak/ canoe.

 Paddlesport: 1st August – 2nd September

 Start Paddlesport: Mondays & Tuesdays:  an introduction to kayaking for those who haven’t tried it before or perhaps only done one session a while ago.  We recommend at least one day’s rest before coming to a follow-up session.

 Paddlepower:  Wednesdays/Thursdays/Fridays: for those who have completed a Start Paddlesport session.   More fun and games, and building up your paddling skills.  For maximum enjoyment, we recommend a day’s rest between sessions.

 Sailing: mix and match your days. 2nd August – 2nd September

 Start Sailing: Tuesdays: : – an introduction to sailing single-handed Topper dinghies.

 Sailing: Day 2+:   Wednesdays/Thursdays: for those with at least one day’s sailing experience.  Consolidate your introduction/ improve your skills.

 Go Sailing (Day 3+): Fridaysfor those with at least 2 days sailing experience:  fun, games and skills.

WINDSURFING – Mondays 1st August – 29 August 
All abilities £20.00 per half day. Times;  10.00-12:30 & 1.00-3.30


Canoe/Kayak hire on the Lake:          Monday to Friday – 1st August – 2nd September
Cost: £15 per head   (All Ages).  Basic instruction and supervision from our coaches.  Times 4pm – 5.30pm

Topper/Windsurfer Hire on the Lake:           Tuesday to Friday – 2nd August – 2nd September
Cost: £15 per head (All Ages).    Basic instruction and supervision from our coaches.  Times:    4pm -5.30pm
