World Champion Tamsin raises the bar

Amble’s Tamsin Green has won the World Surf Kayak Championships in Carolina, USA, her crowning ambition as she has won every other major women’s surf kayak award over the last five years.
She came first in the High Performance class, winning every heat on her way, on big surf and a long swell.
“I got my head in gear,’ she told us,’ I pulled off all the big moves on top of the wave.”
Championship organiser Joey Hall, of the World Surf Committee said, “She’s raised the bar of women’s surfing.”
