Accredited Business Adviser Laura Mathieson has been assisting people considering self employment every other Monday morning since September 2010. Laura is based at Fourways 2, as part of Northumberland Business Service Limited (NBSL), an Enterprise Agency operating across the county and the North East of England.
A diverse range of businesses have achieved start up with NBSL’s assistance. Clients are assisted in one to one sessions with a Business Adviser where they can develop ideas, business skills and receive help to overcome barriers.
At least eight local businesses have been assisted to start up over the last 12 months including: handmade scarves, a cleaning service, beauty therapy, website design and a freelance writer.
