Seashore safaris

Come and delve into the colourful rock pools and discover some of the fascinating marine life on the Northumberland coast. These guided safaris will explore life on the seashore with the European Marine Site Officer.

Please wear footwear suitable for wet, slippy rocks. Wellies are best, or bring spare shoes. Bring buckets and nets if you have them. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Seahouses 6 Aug, 10.30am 12.30pm: Meet in Seahouses at the junction of Broad Road and B1340 to Bamburgh. NU211325. Park on the verge beyond the houses and meet at the bench on the roadside.

Bamburgh 21 Aug, 10.00am- 12.00pm: Meet at Harkess Rocks. NU 177357. Turn down the Wynding opposite the Crewe Arms and meet at the last car park by the benches in the grass.

These events are FREE. No booking necessary, just turn up!
