interact-clubThe Interact Club of Coquet and Aln (a junior branch of Rotary) raised over £360 at a coffee morning held in Amble, in aid of the Amble RNLI.

Pictured presenting the cheque on behalf of Interact Club members is Rotarian Dick Wailes (centre) who is the Amble and Warkworth Rotary Club’s co-ordinator for Interact.

Receiving the cheque is Steve Isaacs (left) Chairman of the Amble Lifeboat Fundraisers. He has been involved with the RNLI for 10 years, and crew member Third Mechanic Keith Sim (right), who is the longest serving member of the crew, having served for 34 years. Interact is Rotary’s service club for young people aged 12 to 18 years.

The Coquet and Aln Club meets in Amble once a month celebrating its first anniversary this month.
