WEA — Trees, Landscapes, and History

An eight week course designed to introduce styles and fashions in creating landscapes and planting trees and gardens.
Tutor: Peter Regan.

Includes a guided visit to the Arboretum at Howick Hall gardens. Looks at the historical forces and practices, which made parks, pleasure grounds, gardens and cemeteries look the way they do today. Eight Thursdays, starting 26 September, 2013    10am- 12 noon, in St Mark’s Church Hall, Wellwood Street.
