Rotary Golf

Ladies-Rotary-GolfA total of £5,700 was raised at a Charity Golf Day at Foxton recently.  Organised by the Rotary Club of Amble and Warkworth, the event attracted 39 teams from across the county.

Chairman of the organising committee, Rotarian Dick Wailes, told The Ambler: “We are most grateful to Alnmouth Golf Club for allowing us the courtesy of their excellent golf course and clubhouse to stage this biennial event.

“We extend our thanks to all the teams who entered and to our sponsors and those who donated prizes. The money raised will be divided equally between SSAFA, The Great North Air Ambulance and MacMillan Cancer Support.
