It’s an exciting time to join Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery following a major grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund that has transformed the museum.
Enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers maintain the displays, manage the collection of artefacts, digitise photographs using the latest museum software, manage our loans and archives, act as reception staff in our reception area and shop six days a week, market us as a tourist destination using social media, update our vibrant and informative website, organise an extensive annual programme of exhibitions (some of which tour nationally), provide a research enquiry service, and much, much more.
Come and join us, we need enthusiastic reception staff who are confident dealing with people. With a warm, outgoing personality you will be the first and main point of contact for families, children, and tourists.
