The latest fundraising event consisted of a raffle for a car, generously donated by JT Auto Services in Hadston.

Organiser Julie Baxter told The Ambler how grateful she was to everyone who had taken part in the recent car raffle. The winner has donated the car back to Oliver, so it will be sold and the money added to the total. And the generosity has not stopped as another family who didn’t wish to be named has stepped up to help.

“It went absolutely fantastic, in total with the profit from the car we have £13 grand, plus £1000 from a local family, and the person who won the car has donated it Oliver for it to be sold – how fantastic,” said Julie.

Five year old Oliver is severely disabled and needs specialised equipment to help him. You can still donate to his GoFundMe page: https://bit.ly/2KXe6zl
