Thank you from Amble Lifeboat Fundraisers
On behalf of the fundraisers, crew and everyone associated with the Amble Lifeboat Station I would like to express my thanks and sincere appreciation for the support from the community towards our annual Harbour Day. Without this generous support – either from donations, time or from attending the day – our event would not be able to raise the much-needed funds to keep our crew, their kit and lifeboats working.
Fortunately the weather was beautiful this year providing a sunny day for everyone to enjoy the entertainment and RNLI exercises. I am delighted to say that with your help we have raised in excess of £5,600 this year. This is a tremendous amount of money (particularly in the current economic climate) and your contribution played a huge part in achieving this.
We continue to raise funds throughout the year and you will find a warm welcome every third Sunday of the month at the Lifeboat Station where we hold a coffee morning 10am – 1pm; we are dog friendly. Come along and enjoy some of our homemade goodies, meet the committee and see some of the work that the volunteers do.
