Community thanked for amazing donations

Posted on 06th February 2020 | in Community

Amble Food Bank wishes to thank everyone for their amazing generous donations of food over the Christmas period.
We were overwhelmed by the response to our article in the Ambler before Christmas.

We wish to thank those who organised, provided food for, volunteered at and attended the Community Christmas Lunch at the Masons Arms in Amble.
We would especially wish to thank Amanda from the Masons Arms and Lorraine from Sweet and Flour for their tireless efforts to ensure the lunch was a success.

We also wish to thank Sea & Soil, Crispys Cakes & Cookies, The Galley, Amble Butchers, Sour Dough Culture, Tesco, Cloudberries, Moira Angus and the volunteers at the Amble Food Bank for their help in ensuring the event was a success.

Thank you to the following for their donations to the Amble Food Bank: Boots; Cock and Bull; Amble Dental practice and Farm bakery shop. We hope that this trend continues into the New Year.

We are asking people of Amble to carry on dropping donations of food off at either Co-ops in Amble and at The Galley on Queen Street. We thank you for your continued support and also thank you on behalf of the recipients.

We are planning another music event possibly towards the end of February 2020. Flyers will advertise the event nearer the time.

I would personally like to thank my fellow volunteers at the Amble Food Bank for their continuous hard work.
