Hauxley Parish council report #131

Posted on 07th December 2021 | in Hauxley Parish Council

Neighbourhood Plan update: The Parish Council has been successful in obtaining a design code technical package which will be administered independently by AECOM. Design codes are a set of illustrated design requirements that provide specific, detailed parameters for any future physical development of a site or area.

New Councillor: Low Hauxley resident Jim Busby has been co-opted onto the Parish Council to fill the vacant seat, bringing Council back to a full complement of Councillors. Jim has experience of being a Councillor in the past when he lived in the Yorkshire Dales.

Christmas Trees: The Parish Council has provided two Christmas trees to be located in High Hauxley and Low Hauxley to bring some festive cheer to the community. We wish all our residents the best seasonal wishes.

Vacancy – Parish Clerk: We are still looking to recruit a Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to join Hauxley Parish Council. The vacancy is for 12 hours per month and the training course ‘Introduction to Local Councils’ will be provided to the successful candidate. If you are interested in the job, please email hauxleypc@gmail.com for an application form and further details.

Future meetings: The next meeting of the Parish Council will be held at 6.30pm on Mon 10th Jan 2022 at Hauxley Village Hall. All in attendance are requested to adhere to social distancing.
