Many shops and businesses in Amble were decorated in red white and blue in readiness for the King Charles’ Coronation on 6 May. Even the man himself put in appearance (his wife was changing her outfit when we called) at the Hospice Care shop.

And if you fancy something special to put on your toast, Mad Jam Woman Sandy Higson has produced two commemorative marmalades for the coronation. The King S’Peach (say it out loud) and The King’s Aperitif  are available from her premises in the old Fourways, and at the Seafood Centre in Amble Harbour Village.

Here’s some images of some of the shop windows in the town. Well done to everyone for their creativity!
