Police arrest man after break-in at Tesco
Northumbria Police have issued the following update on a break-in at Tesco on Amble’s Queen Street in the early hours of Thursday morning.

“A male has been arrested after quick actions by police officers in the early hours of the 01/02/24 in Amble. The male who was wanted for a number of offences was further arrested for burglary and after an investigation has been subsequently charged with 9 offences and is now on bail to attend court.
This is a further example of Northumbria Police working as a team, striving to make your community safer with the combined efforts of Response, Neighbourhood and CID officers pulling together to get this male arrested and charged.”
