Amble Food Bank update

Posted on 30th May 2024 | in Community

Amble Food Bank again thanks our wonderful local communities and businesses for their continued generosity!

We would especially like to thank those who have recently organised specific events to help us. All proceeds from the Acklington Village Community Lunch and the Lent Lunch at St. Lawrence’s Church, Warkworth were kindly donated. The Rigg and Furrow Brewery and their customers held a quiz on our behalf and donated their proceeds. Lorraine Anne Hudson organised ‘Bingo Madness’ at the Masons Arms , Amble raising money and Easter Eggs for us!

Our team noticed that our Morrisons pick up bags increased during holiday periods. This may be, at least in part, down to the generosity of holiday makers and tourists. Thank you to our former Food Bank clients whose circumstances change, and they no longer need our service but instead become donors!

How to Donate to Us
To make a financial donation, cash and cheques can be addressed to us and posted through the letterbox at Trinity Methodist Church.
