Remembrance Day 2024
Hundreds of people gathered at Amble Town Sq to remember the fallen on Remembrance Day this year. Prayers were delivered by Coquet Churches Together, and wreaths were placed on both war memorials, by representatives from the armed forces, local councillors, community and voluntary groups. A wreath was laid on behalf of the King by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant.

Children’s service
Children from Brambles nursery, King Edwin Primary, Amble Links Primary attended a Remembrance Service at the Clock tower on Armistice Day. The occasion was led by Rev Velda Nicholson and Rev Ian MacKarill.
