‘Fantastic day’ as thousands raised for Amble RNLI
What a fantastic 2026 Lifeboat Day! The event raised £10,800 for Amble RNLI. The weather was perfect for Lifeboat displays by the Volunteer Crew who were joined by crews from Craster RNLI, Seahouses RNLI, and Newbiggin RNLI demonstrating the teamwork between stations. We hope you all enjoyed this and the entertainment, stalls and cakes as well.

There are many people to thank for helping to make this such a successful day; all the individuals and businesses in the local and surrounding area, everyone who donated prizes for the raffle and tombola, those who came to support us on the day and many others.

We would like to thank Revd Rachel Dimes for conducting the service and Amble Mayor Luke McTaggart for opening the event, and again donating a painting for our raffle.

Amble RNLI would not be able to continue Saving Lives at Sea without the amazing support we receive. We very much appreciate it. Again, a very big thank you from Amble RNLI Volunteer Crew, Fundraisers and Shop Volunteers.
