Children’s Heart Services consultation

Posted on 18th October 2011 | in Community

The NHS consultation on the future set-up of children’s congenital heart services closed on July 1, 2011. Ipsos MORI, as an independent third party, collected all the consultation responses and will carry out a comprehensive analysis to be published in a report to the decision-makers, the Joint Committee of Primary Care Trusts (JCPCT).

The JCPCT will carefully consider all evidence submitted to it as part of the review to help them evaluate the options and make a final decision on the best configuration for children’s congenital heart services in the future.

A final decision is expected by the end of 2011. For further information please visit www.specialisedservices.nhs.uk/safe_sustainable/review-next-steps.
