Boy and Davey need a new home

Posted on 07th April 2022 | in Clubs + Societies , Community

Our dog charity – previously Alexa’s Animals – now has a new name. We’re now Northumberland Dog Rescue – still rescuing and rehoming dogs in Northumberland. This means we have a new website page www.northumberlandogrescue.co.uk (and yes, just the one d) as well as a new Facebook page Northumberland Dog Rescue. Please visit these to have a look at dogs available for adoption.

If you or anyone you know has some time to spare for a very good and local cause please consider the Northumberland Dog Rescue. Post pandemic everyone’s lives are a little different, and here at NDR we find ourselves in need of a little help. We need volunteers for a variety of roles but in particular to help out at our shop in Amble. The hours are 11am – 3pm, but any time you can give will be much appreciated particularly by our dogs like Boy and Davey (pictured).

If you are able to help please visit www.northumberlandogrescue.co.uk and fill in the contact form and one of our volunteers will get back to you. If you want to support us, there is also a donate button on our website. www.northumberlandogrescue.co.uk
