Results of local elections for Amble wards 2025
Results of the Northumberland County Council elections for the two Amble wards are as follows:
Arty Hume and Pauline Davidson
Amble West with Warkworth:
Elected: PAULINE DAVIDSON – REFORM
ALEXANDER BREWIS – LibDem 110 (6.6%)
ANN BURKE – Ind 292 (17.5%)
PAULINE DAVIDSON – Ref 397 (23.8%)
IVOR RACKHAM – Green 351 (21%)
AMY SPRIGGS – Lab 196 (11.7%)
JEFF WATSON – Con 325 (19.4%)
Amble Ward:
Elected: ARTY HUME – REFORM
TERRY CLARK – Lab 445 (38.4%)
ARTY HUME – Ref 514 (44.4%)
JENNY RICHARDS – Con 199 (17.2%)
Both of these, like many others, posted hateful bigotry on their social media accounts. Why would people vote for these fascists? My grandfather and great grandfather died fighting against people with their hateful opinions and now we have them as our local reps.
They didn’t campaign on any local issue but surfed on the back of Farage’s cult. Why do people follow him when he has failed us so many times? We needed a change but too many people didn’t turn out to vote or voted for someone who could not win.
If you don’t like this and you didn’t vote, then this is what you asked for. Get off your bums next time and go to the polling station. A little clue: if they don’t campaign on local issues they are lazy and just in it for the money.

I hope you have factual evidence of such claims, because if not, you are opening yourself up to libel claims!
I, along with 396 others in Amble West with Warkworth voted in a democratic vote for my choice of candidate, does that make me a fascist? (Be VERY careful with your response!)
Please also note that the turnout for our ward was one of the highest in the county with 45.95% which Pauline Davidson won signifying this was more than just a protest vote.
Disgrace. Simply a disgrace.

Very sad day
This is indeed a very sad result for the less extreme. My comment would be that the only candidate who made the effort to knock on my door was the LibDem candidate. Perhaps too much takes place on social media and the algorithms skew the true picture.
