Election called after death of Amble councillor
A by-election for the Amble ward has been called after the sudden death of Northumberland County Councillor Arty Hume.
Anyone wishing to put their name forward should do so by this Friday 4 September 2026.
The election for a county councillor for the Amble ward, will be held on 1 October 2026.

However, just an add on, Reform needs about 10,000 candidates for the coming GE, so Northumberland contenders have a choice of local and General Election roles asap.
