ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
We continue to experience levels of Anti-Social Behaviour that do not belong in our town.
We strongly urge anyone who witnesses or knows of anti-social behaviour taking place to report this to Northumbria Police. It is only with this information can we ensure that data is logged and supports our call for additional police support.
Similarly we are experiencing increased fly tipping. If you see this taking place please report this to Fix My Street via the Northumberland County Council portal.

MULTI AGENCY WORKING
We continue to meet regularly with our partners in Northumbria Police, Northumbria Fire and Rescue, Northumberland County Council, and neighbouring Councils in Warkworth, Acklington and Hauxley.
We continue to look at ways that we can work collaboratively and share ideas around how best to improve our town and ensure it receives the support it needs.

PADDLERS PARK WATER FEATURE
Council has agreed to remove the water feature at Paddlers Park due to the excessive costs associated with running the water feature and also its impact on the environment and water usage. At the time of writing, Members are considering what to have in its place and as soon as this information is known, we will let you know.

REMEMBRANCE DAY
This year, Remembrance Day takes place on 8 November and will be held in the Memorial Gardens, Amble. We expect there to be a tremendous turnout as in previous years where hundreds of our community turn out to pay their respects. If it is your intention to lay a wreath on behalf of yourself or an organsation, please ensure that you order your wreath directly and let the office know that you will be attending the ceremony.

Thanks to all who work so hard to make the event a success.

CRISIS SUPPORT
We know that everyone needs a helping hand at one stage or another. The Town Council has commissioned a special page in this edition of The Ambler which gives a directory of crisis and support available for anyone who needs it. See page 17. The information is also on our website: www.amble.gov.uk

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
We are pleased to report that the Council’s ambition to bring its ground maintenance in house is well and truly in progress. We now have a dedicated groundsman looking after the Town Council’s land and assets and we are committed to raising the standard and quality of our spaces while securing value for money long term.

As Remembrance Day approaches one of our initial priorities will be working on the Memorial Gardens. We know there is much to do, please bear with us.
