Low cost loans now available in Amble
Residents of Amble can now access low cost loans and savings accounts from CUSEN who are a Credit Union operating throughout Northumberland. They would like to tell people in the area about their recently opened outreach point in Amble.
They are open every Tuesday and Thursday 9.30am to 2.30pm at the Amble Youth Project on Dilston Terrace. In 2011, CUSEN saw a 39% increase in its membership as more people moved away from high-street banking in favour of the credit union, which only offers benefits to its members and surrounding community.
With the dramatic increases in the cost of living, family finances are under increasing pressure and people are turning to high-cost borrowing to help ends meet, which can more often than not make their situation worse.
